Laser acne treatments will help cure your acne problems once and for all. The Smoothbeam laser is the latest FDA approved equipment to repair skin damaged by acne.

For healthier looking skin that doesn’t show any signs of acne or scars associated with this skin condition, laser acne is one of the latest treatments available to clients. The Smoothbeam laser therapy uses an inside out technique to replenish the skin and promote the development of collagen. The treatment models the natural collagen found in the body and does not use any harsh chemicals. This laser treatment does not involve the use of needles, either and you do not have to take any time off work after you receive a treatment.

In the Smoothbeam laser acne therapy, the technicians use a wavelength of laser light to cause mild thermal injury to the upper layer of the skin as it heats it up. The natural healing mechanisms of the body then come into play helping to heal the skin and return it to its former smoothness. With this treatment, the laser also helps to control the oil production in the skin, which is the major cause of acne and is what an acne care system tries so hard to control.

The laser acne wavelength is a powerful beam of light that pulsates over the affected area of the skin. A chemical, called propionbacterium, which is what causes acne to develop, occurs naturally in the oils of the skin. It absorbs the laser light and this has a negative impact on how this chemical affects the metabolism of the skin. This destroys the chemical and thus the acne.

In this way the laser treatment prevents any future outbreaks of the skin condition. In addition to removing acne from your skin, you can also have a laser acne treatment to remove the scars left behind by the acne you experienced in your teenage years. This also includes removing any discoloration of the skin associated with this scarring.

There is a special cooling system in the equipment used for laser acne treatments so that it does not damage the skin under the outer layer. Some patients never experience any side effects at all and those that do report that they have side effects say that they are very mild. After you have a laser tre
atment for acne, the therapist may recommend a skin care treatment for you to use that will assist your skin in its recovery.

In the actual laser treatment, the laser beam combined with carbon dioxide removes the layers of skin from the areas affected by acne starting with the outer layers until all the signs of acne are gone. In so doing, this treatment also tightens the skin, which eliminates any possibility of scarring as a result of the treatment, and removes any scars already on the skin.

You should carefully research the different forms of laser acne treatment of which the Smooth beam technology is one. Other laser treatments include blue light lasers and diode laser treatments, both of which have been proven effective.

There are many different benefits of blue light acne therapy. Acne is a complicated skin condition that affects the lives of millions of individuals on a global scale. People who have this condition often experience outbreaks consistently on the area of the face, neck, back, and chest area. Not only is acne an embarrassing condition, it is a highly uncomfortable condition.

The breakouts may include painful irritation caused by swelling and the infections that linger in the pores. While there are a number of acne treatments available for a sufferer, it has been found that blue light acne therapy is becoming a popular choice. Here, you will learn why.

The first benefit to engaging in blue light treatment for acne is that it is a natural solution to the problem. Unlike harsh cleaners and creams that can be purchased over-the-counter, or even prescribed by a doctor, there are no chemicals involved in this type of acne treatment. In many cases of acne, people find that the treatments that they attempt to use simply do nothing but irritate the skin and cause more complications.

However, light therapy is not invasive in any way whatsoever. This makes it an ideal choice for the individual with sensitive skin, and the person who has problems finding a treatment that works in an effective manner.

Acne can affect infants, preteens, teens, and adults alike. In many instances of acne that invade the life of preteens, there are little to no safe and effective treatments that actually prevent and/or treat this skin condition. However, preteens can actually use blue light therapy and not experience dangerous side effects and health complications that other types of treatments may cause.

In addition to this, this kind of acne treatment is also effective for those that are in the later stages of their life. Many older individuals develop acne, but their skin is so sensitive that it is often relatively difficult to find a good, safe treatment without the hassle of frustrating side effects.

Many are hesitant to experiment with blue light acne therapy because they fear that it may be painful. The truth is, there is absolutely no pain involved! This type of treatment may be administered easily at the doctor’s office, or in the comfort of your own home! If you are looking for a safe, effective solution for acne, you should try blue light acne therapy!

Millions of people today are dealing with skin problems such as acne and blue light acne treatment is considered a better solution for people with sensitive skins. Chemical products that treat acne are usually harsh medications which destroy the skin even more. However, blue light acne treatment is different.

Blue light acne therapy was approved by the FDA in 2002. It does not involve procedures such as ultraviolet radiations and lasers. It is just a high frequency light which targets the bacteria that cause the breakouts.

Although there are many procedures available for treating acne, some of which even involve removing the top layer of your skin, however, if you really have a sensitive skin, then you should go for blue light acne treatment. Chemical peels which even sound horrifying are similar to putting acid on your face. Similarly, dermabrasion is also like rubbing sand paper on your face. Compared to these procedures, light treatment is much more humane.

If you have a mild acne, light treatment will be very effective and will be pain-free. You will see good results after treatment of 2-4 weeks. However, for some people there might be some side effects such as redness, stinging, swelling or perhaps a burning sensation. Moreover, blue light treatment does not work on 15% of patients so you have to take your chance.

There is one drawback of light treatment which is the cost. It will cost you about $50-$150 per each treatment and most of the patients usually need weekly treatments for a month or two. However, if your skin responds well to the treatment, it will be worth the cost.

If you are looking for an affordable, yet effective acne treatment solution, then I’d like to recommend this amazing anti-acne product. This solution is known to fight the bacteria causing acne, getting rid of the frustrating condition for good.

Get the best acne treatment solution now

Everything You Wanted To Know About Laser Hair Removal

Introduced about 2 decades back, laser hair removal treatment is now widely accepted by dermatologists as a safe and effective method of removing unwanted hair from small and large areas of the body. Laser therapy is also approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Today, laser treatment is being preferred over other methods of hair removal because of its speed and efficacy. To get effective results and to ensure safety, you should get the laser treatment conduced by a skilled and experienced professional. Laser treatment is highly popular for removal of unwanted body hair from the face, underarms, legs, pubic area, back, chest, abdomen and shoulders.

How does laser therapy work?

In laser hair removal therapy, an intense, pulsating beam of focused laser light energy is passed through the skin targeting dark pigment, called melanin, in hair. The intense heat of laser light burns the hair follicle causing permanent damage and thereby prevents the growth of new hair. Laser does not heat or damage the surrounding skin.

Laser therapy is not a permanent method of hair removal as many people claim it to be. However, it does keep unwanted body at bay for several months and even years altogether.

Comparison with electrolysis

Electrolysis is another popular method of hair removal that has been around for more than a century. Discussed below are differences between laser therapy and electrolysis treatment.

1. Method of treatment – Electrolysis is an invasive technique in which a needle penetrates deep through the skin in the hair follicle whilst laser is a non-invasive technique. In this method, only light energy is used for hair removal
2. Time taken – Electrolysis consumes more time than laser treatment as it treats single hair follicle at a time. Laser on the other hand, targets dozens of follicles simultaneously and hence takes less time. Small procedures may only require a single session.
3. Re-treatment – Since electrolysis destroys a follicle permanently, a treated hair follicle is not to be treated again. In case of laser, if a follicle treated with laser light begins to grow hair in due course, you may have to tre
1000
at the same follicle again.
4. Effectiveness – The FDA currently allows the term “Permanent Hair Removal” for electrolysis. It is effective on all hair colours unlike laser. On the other hand studies prove that laser hair removal is faster, less painful and more reliable hair removal treatment than electrolysis but is effective for only some hair colours.

Parameters that affect the result of laser treatment

Since light is absorbed better by dark objects, laser therapy works best with dark coarse hair. Light skin and dark hair are an ideal combination, however new laser machines are now able to target dark black hair even in patients with dark skin. Besides, the skill and experience of the professional matters a lot in the case of laser treatment.

Number of sessions required for laser hair removal

To achieve effective results, multiple sessions of laser hair removal may be required. The number of sessions depend on various factors such as area of the body treated, skin colour, coarseness of hair and gender. Besides, hair grows in several phases and laser treatment is only effective in the growth phase. Several sessions are needed to eradicate all hair in phases of growth. Normally 5-7 sessions may be required to make an area completely hair-free but the number of sessions may increase to as many as 12 sessions of hair treatment.

Intervals between sessions

According to current parameters, interval between sessions of laser treatment may be spaced 4–6 weeks apart for most areas. However, intervals between treatments has not been standardised and depends upon individual response to treatment. For stubborn areas such as the underarms, chest and back several sessions may be required at 6-week intervals. It is recommended that one should wait until treated hairs have been shed and enough hairs have come in after the hair-free period to have another treatment.

Other uses of laser therapy

Laser hair removal treatment has also found to be an effective treatment for pseudofolliculitis barbae commonly known as ingrown hairs or “shaving bumps”. Besides, recently it has been reported to be a helpful treatment for pilonidal cysts that develop along the tailbone usually containing hair and skin debris.

Risks of laser therapy

If conducted incorrectly, without precautions or by an inexperienced/unskilled person laser treatment may be fraught with following risks:

1. Chance of burning the skin
2. Discolouring dark skin
3. Flare of acne
4. Swelling around the follicle
5. Scab forming
6. Hypopigmentation (white spots)
7. Purpura (red or purple discolorations on the skin)

Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System?

I just bought this product and after reading some reviews, I'm very scared to use it. So my question is, have any of you used it and/or do you like it? And if you didn't like it, please explain why and the effects (if any) the product caused on your skin. Thanks!

Studies show that there are numerous factors that could affect the growth of acne in one’s face. But there are also many ways to effectively remove acne. Acne removal tips vary from natural herbs to the most expensive medical treatment available. There is also do-it-yourself acne removal techniques which only involves the use of ingredients commonly found in the kitchen. Whether you opt to remove your acne using traditional inexpensive methods or modern technology’s way, make sure that you have read a lot about the different options that are available for acne removal.

With the advancement of technology, along came the different machines tailored to make people more beautiful. Nowadays, the so-called Blue Light Therapy is the most popular acne removal therapy that is approved by the FDA. Many famous celebrities and skin care experts prove that the UV light of the Blue Light Therapy makes the skin free from acne and other blemishes caused by different harsh environmental factors. Moreover, it also helps the treated area to prevent wrinkles and age spots from appearing. However, since this involves the use of modern machinery, the Blue Light Therapy can be out of your budget’s range. It also needs 3 or more sessions before the acne completely disappear.

Another way of acne removal is through the help of different anti-acne herbs. Effective herbs that fight acne include Beta Sito Sterol, Saw Palmetto, Neem, Turmeric and more. These are very common plants and can be taken from your grandmother’s backyard. Some originated in Asian countries like India and China. The extracts of these herbs are usually used as ingredients for making topical anti-acne ointments, lotions, creams, and alike. These herbs do not only treat acne dilemma but different skin conditions as well including eczema, dandruff, scabies and warts. However, if you have an allergy to these kinds of herbs then it better not to use it or it may lead to more serious skin problems.

Most teens, especially girls, like to experiment with the different fruits and vegetables to remove their acne. Natural acne removal ingredients such as honey, tea tree oil, turmeric paste and more can be turned into facial masks that effectively prevent the growth of new acne and drying the existing acne in the face or any part of the body. It is cheap and it can be a lot fun doing these kinds of acne removal techniques along with your girlfriends during a slumber party.

Blue light acne treatment…has anyone had any success?

There is a blue light that has been approved by the FDA as a treatment for acne. By shining this light on your face it is supposed to kill bacteria in the skin that would otherwise cause breakouts. Is it effective and what are your recommended instructions for use if it is?

Some acne cases require more advanced treatment methods. In some individuals, the motivation isn’t just the severity of the acne as much as the desire to avoid side effects from medication. Whatever the motive, advanced acne treatments offer an alternative that is attractive to many. Among the most popular are light and laser treatments.

In decades past UV was used as a light source. It has the beneficial effect of killing the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria that plays a role in acne formation. But, when studies showed that UV can increase the odds of skin cancer, the treatment became much less popular.

Other forms of light don’t have that problem.

Blue Light

One form is called ‘blue light therapy’, where the name derives from the color of the light used. The main effect is to kill the bacteria, but there is some effect on the skin oil. It can cause a slight dryness. The narrow band light contains a negligible amount of UV wavelengths.

Patients receive treatments twice per week over a period of about a month. It’s effective on forms other than more severe acne, such as those that produce nodules or cysts. The latter can actually be made worse with blue light treatment. Improvements ranged from complete remission to about 40% decrease in the number of lesions, in several studies. About two-thirds saw between a 59% to 67% reduction of inflammatory acne lesions.

Pulsed and LHE (Light Heat Energy)

Other forms of light therapy, such as LHE, have similar effects – they kill acne bacteria – but do so by a different means. LHE also tends to decrease sebum (the natural skin oil). Excess sebum production is considered one of the major factors encouraging acne development. This green light tends to shrink sebaceous glands.

The therapy is approved by the FDA for treating mild to moderately severe acne. Both inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne can be reduced by two treatments per week over a period of one month. Drug-based treatments tend to take two or three months or longer.

In some cases, though, light treatments are combined with the use of prescription medications.

ALA (5-aminolevulinic acid)

ALA is a compound applied to the skin. It doesn’t have any of the antibacterial properties of standard acne treatments like Accutane. It works by making the skin more sensitive to light, thus increasing the effectiveness of light treatment.

It’s kept on for 15 minutes to an hour, during which the patient receives blue or red light treatment. The jury is still out so numbers are sketchy, but early results suggest the treatment is safe and effective.

Lasers

Normal light contains waves that scatter in all directions. Laser light is called coherent because the waves all move in an organized train in the same direction. That’s one of the reasons lasers can do all the things they’re used for.

The chief difference, though, between different lasers (just as it is with other forms of light) is the wavelength. In the case of acne treatment lasers, one popular type produces waves of 1450 nm (nanometers, a billionth of a meter). This type is particularly safe and effective.

In one study, one treatment reduced acne lesions by nearly 40%. Two treatments decreased them by nearly 60% and with three the number rose to over 80%. There is some mild pain associated with the treatments, however, so a topical anesthetic is used during the procedure.

Acne is a problem that millions of people have to deal with. For people with sensitive skin, medications and harsh chemicals are usually not the answer but these people may be helped by blue light acne treatment. This article will briefly explain what blue light treatment is, possible side effects, and the cost.

In 2002 the FDA approved blue light therapy for acne. Blue light treatment does not involve lasers or ultraviolet light. It is a high frequency light used to target and kill the bacteria that forms in the sebaceous glands which causes breakouts.

Blue light treatment may be a better option for people with sensitive skin because many of the other treatments available involve removing the top layer of skin. Dermabrasion is like taking sand paper to your face. Chemical peels (that just sounds painful) is literally putting acid on your face to remove skin.

For most people with mild to moderate acne, blue light treatment is painless and effective. Most people will see improvement after two to four weekly treatments. For some people however there could be side effects. It is possible to experience swelling, redness, stinging, or a burning sensation after treatment. You should also note that the treatment does not work for everyone. Studies show that approximately 85% of patients to see an improvement.

One main drawback to blue light acne treatment may be the cost. Prices range anywhere from $50-$150 per treatment. Most patients will require weekly treatments for a month or two and then monthly treatments after that to maintain the results. The costs could really add up but if a patient responds well to the treatment then it may be worth every penny.

LHE therapy uses both light and heat to eradicate the root causes of acne. Like blue light therapy, LHE therapy uses light to destroy acne-causing bacteria. LHE therapy also uses heat to reduce the production of sebum and to help shrink …

Recently,I decided to see if going to the tanning booth would help my acne and it realy did. I knew that tanning was definitely not a long term fix (skin cancer). I looked into light therapy, which I had seen pamphlets for at my …

Though acne laser treatment is not new but it has become quite a popular way to treat acne today. It has proved to be beneficial for many people. What's more, … Then the pen is made to emit wave after wave of concentrated beams of light that pass back and forth over the affected areas and in the process the light beams will vaporize the unwanted skin tissue. This in turn ensures that with the help of acne laser treatment the old acne is removed and in its place a new …

Does Intense Pulsed Light (ILP) treatment really help reduce / eliminate Acne? any body that you know got his / her money's worth?

Let’s face it, you have tried everything when it comes to trying to rid yourself of problem acne. You have tried creams, lotions, special washes and secret remedies that your Grandma says worked when she was a kid. Well, nothing has worked. Have you heard of the new acne light treatment methods?

Acne light treatment has been proven scientifically and technically to reduce the severity of acne. It destroys the bacteria that cause the infections. This particular method is used for people who have suffered recurring bouts of acne over the years that is especially stubborn. In addition, the specific cases of acne have become somewhat resistant to creams and antibiotics.

The acne light treatment methods involve the use of phototherapy or light therapy that involves the patient being exposed to lights that feature a specific wavelength using lasers, LEDs, fluorescent lamps, full spectrum lights or very bright bulbs.

Acne light treatment is becoming very popular among acne sufferers because it is easy and drug free. In addition, it helps people that have had little or no success with other methods of treatment. However, there is a cost to it and you should contact your dermatologist or doctor to obtain more information on this part of the process.

Many people have found out first hand that some acne creams or topical medications can damage sensitive skin. Have you ever applied an acne cream only to find your skin turning red or peeling? Other side effects include an increased sensitivity to the sun.

The FDA has approved UV acne light treatment as they have found it to be free of any dangers from the actual UV lights. What the light does is kill the bacteria that cause the acne. Most people that suffer from acne can benefit from this type of procedure. However, there is one exception and that is anyone that suffers from Porphyria.

In conclusion, if you have tried everything to cure your acne problem and nothing has worked then you may be just the person to try acne light treatment. Consult with a dermatologist or your family doctor to see if this is the right form of treatment for you.

Have you tried every possible acne cream without any lasting results? Acne light treatment is a new, safe way to treat problem acne.
Have a great day!

Weakness and disease are inescapable facts of life. You could fall prey to a pathogenic bacterium that could eat away your skin. You could catch a deadly virus that could lodge in and weaken your lungs. You could be sick because of sunlight, or you could be sick because of depression related to the weather.

Sickness is inevitable, but suffering is optional. There are many therapies available to cure sickness, or to alleviate the pain of its symptoms. You can take medicines or be injected with them. These medicines are engineered in the laboratory to destroy infectious agents by either breaking open their cell walls, or targeting pathogenesis-related genes in their genetic material.

You can also be given vaccines to protect you from future infections. Vaccines are actually a mild version of the pathogen, and mimic the presence of the pathogen in your body. It is this mimicry that, in turn, triggers a mild immune response, which leads to your body producing cells that will keep you from succumbing to infections when you grow older.

Surgery is the last resort when trying to cure a disease. Parts of damaged organs can be removed, so that they do no further harm to the body. Whole organs may also be transplanted into you to ease the body of its burden of trying to use an organ destroyed by pathogens. You may be fitted with prosthetics, given chemical treatments, or tumors can be taken away for biopsy.

Thanks to modern technology and discoveries in science, these are not the only ways that diseases can be treated. Laboratory research has found that certain frequencies of light can actually kill pathogens or even rejuvenate cells. As a result, laboratories and clinics now specialize in research and applications in light therapy.

Certain wavelengths of light can have different effects on living organisms. Ultraviolet, or UV light, for example, can destroy bacteria. Lasers can change the configurations of molecules. Alternating periods of light and darkness can cause different plants to fruit or flower, and can change sleep rhythms in humans as well.

Light therapy exploits these properties of light and uses them to create regimens that can help cure, or alleviate the pain brought about by certain diseases. Light therapy can also be used for cosmetic purposes, and is often used in psychiatry to relieve weather-related depression.

Also known as phototherapy, light therapy involves exposing subjects to specific light wavelengths using light emitting diodes (LED), lasers, fluorescent lamps, or bright lights emitting all the colors of the spectrum. Such procedures will be prescribed for a short period of time, and are non-invasive. That is, they will not involve surgery or other penetrating therapeutics, and can thus ease the anxiety of the needle-fearing, scalpel-phobic patient.

What are the advantages of using light therapy?

- Light therapy is a non-invasive method that can kill acne-causing bacteria. Acne removal can be painful if done in a dermatologist’s clinic, with only piercing equipment and syringes. Thanks to advances in light therapy, these bacteria can be destroyed when the light penetrates their cell walls, thus stopping them from causing more acne.

- Lack of light, as well as the gray air of winter, can trigger depression. Light therapy can treat depression disorders by giving patients various amounts of light, awakening the brain into thinking that the less gray seasons of summer and spring have come. This prevents patients from taking anti-depression medications, which can have side effects.

- Light therapy can work into the body’s sleep rhythm, or circadian rhythm. Research shows that our sleep habits are governed by light, and light therapy exploits this fact by giving patients varying amounts of light at designated times of the day. This keeps patients from taking tranquilizers to get a good night’s sleep. It can also alleviate the pain of jet lag for frequent travelers.

- Light therapy can treat skin diseases like psoriasis and eczema at a much faster pace than other therapeutics. Ointments and shampoos need months, even years to fully take effect.

- If you are miles away from the beach, but still want to get a tan, you can go to an accredited tanning salon for UV light therapy. At safe doses, UV light can give you the tan that you want without you worrying about overexposure to the sun’s harmful rays.

- Light therapy users claim that light rejuvenates their cells and gives them a more youthful, glowing look. This means less spending on expensive ointments and elixirs promising to turn back the clock on skin.

- Light therapy has been shown to be largely effective for at least ninety percent of patients.

- Light therapy can be done at home, with special light boxes. Although expensive, rising demand can lower the prices of such light boxes.

- When done with the supervision of experts, light therapy can be controlled, and its effects monitored accordingly. That is, the amount of light, its intensity, and frequency can be measured and adjusted easily.

- Light therapy is safe for many patients, if placed under the control and supervision of accredited experts.

If you think that light therapy is for you, consult with your doctor, and find out what clinics are accredited and certified in your area. If you fear needles and scalpels, but want to get cured and get better, then light therapy might just be the answer you are looking for.

I have light acne scars or blemishes that are starting to scar. Anyone know what kind of peel will be best?

I had severe acne on my face. But then I use is Clinical Super Serum and the condition soon improved. The best thing about the serum is that it also fades post-acne marks and scars on the face. I'm still using it and the spots on my face are gradually fading away.

The worst thing about acne is the scars and the marks it leaves behind. Some of the scars tend to disappear with time but some are so grave that it can be disfiguring which may make our heart sink.

The post acne marks is the hyper pigmented or red marks and is called as the post inflammatory marks. These marks take at least 6-12 months to completely disappear. When these marks last longer than a year then it turns into a scar. A number of things could be done to reduce the redness and to quicken its pace to disappear. There are also a number of home remedies available. Following are some of them.

1) Rub lemon juice on the scar/marks. This will lighten the color. Apply the juice and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Wash off your face and then apply a sun block lotion.

2) Make a paste of sandalwood powder, black gram powder and rose water. Apply it on the area and I possible leave it overnight. Wash it with cold water the next morning. If you find that it makes you skin too dry then add some milk into it.

If these tips did not work for you, do not lose heart you can still try some other tips. Good Luck!

Acne Blue Light Therapy is one of the latest trends in the medical field when it comes to the treatment of acne. There have been several major studies and research projects to study the acne blue light therapy and nearly all of them have reached the conclusion that this new form of treatment is quite effective. These findings are naturally good news for many acne patients for whom conventional therapies and treatments have not really been beneficial.

Acne is caused by a bacterial infection which attacks the skin. The basic principle of the acne blue light therapy is simply to kill the bacteria causing the acne. Laboratory tests have discovered that the blue light goes straight to the root of what is triggering acne formation:

Propioibacterium acne aka “P.acne.”

P. Acne is the classification of the bacteria that are responsible for causing acne. These bacteria produce molecules known as porphyrins. Porphyrins are easily destroyed when they are exposed to the blue wavelength in light. Upon their destruction, they emit free radicals and it is these free radicals that kill the bacteria that created the porphyrins to begin with. Once the bacteria are dead, the infection is cured.

There are some very obvious advantages with the acne blue light therapy, since the process is completely natural and non-invasive. The acne blue light therapy does not involve the use of any drugs so there is no danger of any undesirable side effects. Doctors claim that the acne blue light therapy is totally safe for all ages and can be used daily.

As far as the actual acne blue light therapy procedure is concerned, it should be understood that all acne patients are undergoing this therapy in incrementally intense sessions. The normal course of a treatment could involve as many as eight sessions over a four-week period with each session lasting for about fifteen minutes. Acne blue light therapy is not known to have any noticeable or particular harmful side effects. In fact, in most cases the side effect that can be most easily observed, is a slight change in the skin pigment, dryness and mild swelling of treated areas.

While these side effects are quite superficial and temporary, it must be noted that the acne blue light therapy is not recommended for people who have nodulocystic acne.

Acne blue light therapy is rapidly becoming well known throughout the world thanks to television advertisements and ever growing information on the Internet.

The acne blue light products that are available today have no ultraviolet (UV) component in the light they emit so that there is no danger from over exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Acne blue light therapy is now FDA approved and used by many people on a daily basis.

Does light therapy really work?

I'm thinking about buying a light therapy kit to treat my acne. They're pretty expensive though… about £180 so wanted to get some people's opinions first. Also, which should I go for? I was thinking of a red and blue light one which is like a small wall of lights which you sit in front of. Or there are some smaller hand held ones… which should I go for? Thanks
